We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Client-server communication and server-to-Plaid communication use HTTPS/TLS where applicable. Plaid credentials and access tokens are handled server-side. Plaid access tokens are encrypted before being stored. Browser, iOS, and Android clients do not store Plaid access tokens.

Some data must remain available for application features such as searching, syncing, displaying expenses, and matching transactions. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about our collection and disclosure of personal information, subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Depending on your use of connected financial account features, financial account and transaction data may be considered sensitive personal information. We use this data only to provide the Services you request, maintain security, comply with law, and support account management.

If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability, subject to applicable law.

Legal bases: we process personal data to provide the Services (contract), operate and secure the Services (legitimate interests), comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, based on your consent, such as optional mobile permissions or your choice to connect a financial account through Plaid.
